Our Mission:
Law Enforcement Officers Weekend is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit

To provide a fun and relaxing environment for active & retired Law Enforcement Officers, their families and friends in one of the most beautiful places on earth, Lake George, New York. We strive to raise as much money as possible through charitable donations to bring the families of fallen law enforcement officers to an all-expesnes paid vacation to our annual event.

About Us:

During the fall of 2014, NYPD Officer Austin Glickman founded the idea of Law Enforcement Officers Weekend (LEO Weekend) while training as a police recruit in the New York City Police Academy. During his time in the academy, many racially profiled incidents occurred throughout the country, causing stressful tension between law enforcement officers and the communities in which they served. The continued negativity towards law enforcement continues to this day.

With stress levels at an all-time high for law enforcement officers, Austin approached the Mayor of Lake George, Robert Blais (retired law enforcement) and New York State Correctional Officer, David Linehan for help. They created a concept of a three day event in which active and retired officers, their family and friends would come together from across the country to enjoy one of the most beautiful places on earth, Lake George, New York. Their annual event allows attendees to relax, unwind, compete in friendly competitions, network with peers, educate themselves by attending law enforcement related seminars, enjoy family-friendly events and pay their respects to fallen officers.

LEO Weekend has now hosted two successful events, with a total of 600 in attendance during our 2017 and 2018 events. Due to your generous donations, we've had the privilege of hosting a total of 4 amazing families who've lost loved ones in the line of duty:

Family of Deputy Chief James Molloy (2017)
Family of Trooper Brian Falb (2017)
Family of Sergeant Paul Tuozzolo (2018)
Family of Detective Miosotis Familia (2018)

We are now in the process of planning our upcoming 2019 event which will again be held in Lake George, New York. We are attempting to raise a minimum of $3,000.00 to bring two more deserving families to next years event. Please help us reach that goal by donating anything you can and sharing this GoFundMe with your friends and family!

We strive to build our annual weekend into a respected, well-known event for the Thin Blue Line!
