The Jean & Gail Cantave foundation is launching our 3rd Annual 50 Meals 50 Wards Thanksgiving Food Drive & Fundraiser for 2018!
Our 1st Annual event in 2016 was a success by all measures as I literally came up with this idea overnight in October. We raised approximately $1,900 and the efforts of all of those that donated helped us feed over 60 people that week.
In honor of my parents, Jean and Gail Cantave both of whom passed suddenly over 2 years ago I was compelled to begin giving my time to something more than myself.
This year help us reach our goal of raising $20,000 to feed families and individuals in need during the Thanksgiving holiday and also to help in growing and building our organization so we can continue this work, year over year! Our event is planned for Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 22, 2018 where we will prepare food to feed those in need.
