Jocelyne's Cancer Fight

Its Been a Sisters Cancer Story... All three of us sisters were diagnosed with breast cancer, starting in 2016. Unfortunately, Jocelyne was most recently diagnosed in February 2017 with Invasive Ductal and Lobular Carcinoma, with ER and PR positive hormones.  She had a mastectomy in April as reccommended by her breast surgeon due to the difficult location of her three cancerous tumors.  In positive spirits, Jocelyne recovered and visited her oncologist whom reccommended Adriamycin and Cisplatin chemotherapy followed by Taxol chemo. 

Jocelyne just finished Round 1 of her chemo treatment like a champ.  She is the comedian and bleeding heart of our family.  She is a single mother to three wonderful boys ages 5, 15 and 20 years old.  As a teacher for students with special needs for over 15 years in Far Rockaway, Jocelyne loves her school children as she loves her children.  Her goal is to work as much as possible and to be there for her children as normally as she can be.  Her chemotherapy regimen is no joke, and she hasn't even begun her reconstructive surgery.  The monies raised from this campaign will be used for Jocelyne's medical bills that will accrue, any alternative treatments to help Jocelyne fight her battle with cancer and to cover work days.
