TRYING TO GET BACK TO MY FAMILY

I am in quite a desperate situation and I really need some help financially.

I am a woman who is 58 years old and am going through a marriage break up and believe me that is stressful enough. My husband has left me and is in drug addiction and is not thinking very clearly at all. He left me on the 22/10/2019, to cross the Nullarbor to live in a pop up tent by the beach over east. He doesn't want to know about all the outstanding bills I'm facing or that I will be homeless come the 6th November 2019. Currently, I do not have a job, I have been a stay at home wife during our 10-year marriage, as that is the way my husband always wanted it to be, he was to be the sole breadwinner.  I have now arranged Centrelink Newstart payments.

Our 1 months’ notice on our rental lease here in WA, has now expired (on the 6th November 2019). But, due to the compassion of my rental house owners I have been granted another 2 weeks stay by them for $80 wk rent (instead of $425!) and am doing everything in my power to get the property clean and orderly, both inside the house and the outside house wash down and gardens etc.  and I'm doing my best to make the property as presentable as I can. I am giving away most of our furniture and belongings, so that the place is empty and prepared for the new tenants.

I am striving to pay the necessary bills to get our Bond money back and a good reference for future rental properties, so that I don't end up with a bad report with the Tenancy Board.

We owe $1275.00 in rent on the 6th November and my husband’s answer to that is that they can take it out of the Bond money. BUT I have been warned that here in WA it’s against the law to withhold rent to come from Bond, and it incurs up to a $5000 fine!

So, firstly I need to find that money for the rent which is $1275.00. There will be other end bills, i.e. Synergy $176.47, Water Rates $43.85, under the lease contract we have to get the carpets professionally cleaned $180 and have to leave one full gas bottle $134.

So all up I need $1809.32 to pay all outstanding bills.  I have raised $300 so far, for which I am truly grateful.

If I can pay these bills I will be able to successfully get the Bond money $1750 back fairly quickly, and a good rental reference with the Tenancy Board of WA, which will give me sufficient money to pay any other outstanding bills (Synergy, Telstra (leaving Internet contract fees $258, another Water Rates bill) and get me and my car across the Nullarbor to go and live with my son, his partner and two daughters in Queensland until I can get my life organised for some shared accommodation close by to them and get myself a good paying job.

I thank you with all my heart, in advance for anything you can do to help me financially, to get me out of this desperate situation and obtain a good Rental Reference with the Tenancy Board of WA.
