Yucca Cool Cats World Festival Trip

We are the Yucca Cool Cats, a FIRST Lego League Jr. team. We attend Yucca Elementary and are 1st and 2nd grade students. This is the first year Yucca Elementary has an FLL Jr. team, and we were fortunate enough to be selected to represent New Mexico at World Festival in St. Louis, Missouri!
In order to attend World Festival we need your help. It will cost our team and chaperones about $8000 to attend this 3 day event in April. We are very proud to represent our city of Alamogordo and the State of New Mexico at a world level event and hope to do everyone proud.
Our project this year was to learn more about what happens to an item or piece of trash when we are done with it. We chose apple cores and discovered composting. So along with trying to raise funds to travel to St. Louis we also hope to raise enough money to implement composting at school and a small school garden. We dream BIG.
Please help us achieve our goals, it would truly mean the WORLD to us to attend World Festival and be able to implement composting at Yucca Elementary. We appreciate your consideration.
We will put any sponsor that wishes on our team banner, just indicate that you wish to be included. For $1000+ donation we will proudly wear your logo on the back of our shirts. If any business is willing to donate $5000 will will put a large logo on the back of our team shirts and on the sunglasses we will hand out to other teams in attendance.
