Hi Family and Friends~
As many of you know Lea has suffered from endometriosis causing her to have a total hysterectomy 5 years ago. We thought this medical crisis was over: however, our worst fears were confirmed that this disease once again plagues her. The endometriosis is currently growing on her bowel and bladder and she is facing a laparoscopic excision surgery and possbile bowel resection. She faces a long recovery time and painful physical therapy to help correct all of the muscle damage this disease has done over time. The specialist she needs to perform this surgery is not in her insurance network. This is going to leave her with a huge financial burden as well as not being able to work for a few months. Mike and I are helping her; however, this is all a bit more than we can handle.
