This blue eyed beauty is Helen.
On April 18,2017 our world came crashing down on us. Helen had thrown up several times through the night and had a low grade fever, had a sore throat. Diana called the doctor to make an appointment for her to be seen. Dr did her assessment and advised Diana to take Helen to Cooks Emergency Room because she thought her liver was enlarged. while at Cooks they did blood work, ultra sounds and CT scan...got the results in no time....the results were devastating we were expecting her to have strep throat but it was Wilms Tumor (cancer) Her right kidney was full of cancer and her left kidney has 2 spots on it as well. Mind you this is a little girl up playing and watching tv and just being Helen now this!! The Doctor was amazing explaining everything to where we can understand and she answered all our questions and showed us all the pictures of our little Helen. Now Helen was admitted to PICU and already talking Chemo. Day 2 and Helen has had 3 Rounds of Chemo. What a crazy journey this is... so we are asking if you could please help us due to the long time we will be in the hospital and Chris will be here as much as he can and not on the job.
There will be more expenses to follow even as we go home. Helen will be doing 12 weeks of Chemo, surgery to follow and even more tests to be run.
