Acton families

Good morning, a couple of months ago I reached out and asked the community for help with two young children that lost their dad by the hands of their mother and unfortunately watched it all. I was devastated for these kids and asked for help with activities to keep them busy so they could heal. The community responded with so many things for them to do and I was beyond proud to be a part of this wonderful community. These two young children were staying with their older brother who stepped up to take care of them......a most tragic even happened yesterday and their home ended up catching fire and they didn't have any insurance at all. A total of five families were displaced, a few of them had children as well.  If we could rally together for these families one more time it would mean so much to them. To have such a series of events happen to these two kids and one family is beyond devastating as well as the other families that were also displaced. Any help would be greatly appreciated..... Gift cards....Hannaford, Shaws, Walmart, etc, cash donations can be made at the Acton town hall,
Donations are accepted at the Acton town hall for those who are able to make it in person or by mail.

By now most of you have heard that there was a fire at 1242 Foxes Ridge Road. First and most importantly, please know there were no injuries. With that said, however, five families have been displaced by this fire, and there was no insurance on the home. It is possible that there may be some salvageable items in a couple of the apartments, but it still too soon to know. What we do know is that a couple of these families had young kids living there, including Zack and Myer, who we all know as the big brother and girlfriend to the "Weyland kids". Additionally, there were two other families with kids living in this house. I went over today and visited with each of them and made sure that everyone had a plan for this evening and gave them some resources from our neighbors helping neighbors account. Red Cross was just getting there and stepping in as I left. Once I get more details on how, we as a community can help, or what they specifically need, I will post an update.
