Alys Art Drive For Sick Kids

Collecting for the Holiday Season!
Aly has been a patient of Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital for 13 years. Being in the hospital more than home, she and her family understand the sadness, fear and mental exhaustion of being a sick kid. Aly's Art Drive was started 6 years ago to help kids cope with their treatments and illness. Art bags are packed and delivered to Cardinal Glennon. They are then given out to children who are coping with illness. Whether it is chemo, surgery, dialysis, blood work or the emergency room, Art makes every child's day brighter. Not only do they brighten the day of the child receiving, but the bags also help the parents coping too. Aly's Art bags have made a name for themselves, as they light up a child's face with excitement! They have become very popular and even requested at Cardinal Glennon! The art drive also provides art supplies to the art therapy program in the Bob Costa center. This program allows children to express their emotions through drawing, painting, creating and talking with the amazing art therapist, Natasha.
