Support Shane and Stacey Mitchell

Shane Mitchell was involved in a work accident. Due to the circumstances he was transferred to the University of Utah burn center. He is currently in stable but critical condition. His wife, my sister, Stacey Mitchell will be staying in Utah to be by his side. She will be missing work, so therefore she is going to need a little help with expenses including travel, hotel, and food. If you can donate, please do, also please share this with all of your friends and family.

Here is the latest update from my sister:
"Just talked to the doctor. They got central line in. He said that in a day or two they are wanting to take him to the OR to debride everything. He said the worst is definitely his hands/wrists and legs, especially the left one. Those areas will need grafts. And possibly a small area on his back. They are thinking maybe 2 surgeries. He said at this point the burns/wounds are not their priority. They are focused on keeping him stable-making sure his heart, lungs, kidneys and everything remain stable with the shock from the severe burns. They are considering him in critical condition at this point. He is very swollen so they are keeping him intubated. The doctor says he will regain full function but it will take a while. This is life threatening but at this point the doctor is very hopeful that he will do well."
