Stage 4 Cancer Diagnosis-In Need Of Your Help!

Hi...my name is Christy Maturin LaBry. My family and I are teaming up to support my Uncle, Kim Migues. He was recently diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer and bone cancer. The cancer that is in his bones is located in right side of skull, shoulder, ribs, lumbar/neck area, & tailbone. He is in the process of making arrangements to head to MD Anderson in Houston for treatment.
Over the past few years, Kim has had other problems, including 4 leg procedures for circulation problems and wound care for venous ulcers. His wife JoAnn, has had dual retinal detachment surgery and also a heart attack. They have tried to keep their heads above water, only to now have this diagnosis come their way.
He has been thrown into a whirlwind, not knowing where to turn or how to handle some things. He is overwhelmingly concerned for his family and his job. He is anxious about taking time off of his job to go to Houston for treatment. He needs to keep his job, so that he can keep his insurance, but also needs to seek this treatment at MD Anderson. I'm not sure how he's managed to work with the pain he's been experiencing. For some time now, he's been in extreme pain without any medication for relief.
Our goal is to try to help alleviate Kim's stress of financial issues while he fights this illness. Inevitably, he will have to miss some work to get these treatments at MD Anderson. Along with normal monthly bills, he is concerned about the cost of his medical bills. We want him to feel secure in knowing that he can go off to get these treatments and not have to worry about bills back home for a bit. Your help would be greatly appreciated at this time. Whether you are able to help financially, prayerfully, or in anyway possible...we as his family are so very thankful!!
This was & still is a shock for all of us who love him. He's in great spirits and is ready to fight!! We his family are ready to fight right there along side him!! We know that God is watching over Kim and He will guide us all throughout this time.
