Medical Expenses For John Hicks

We were driving through New Mexico on our after Christmas road trip when he got the call. The egg-sized lump that was taken from the back of his neck was melanoma, a type of skin cancer. When we made it back to Tennessee, we went to several hospitals in an attempt to get treatment, but they all turned John down because he didn't have insurance. At that point we realized we were going to need help. We moved to the San Antonio area to be with John's family, and to hopefully get in to an oncologist.After weeks of doctors visits and paying out-of-pocket for scans and more biopsies, we were finally able to get him insurance. Now we are facing a deductible and piles of medical bills. I haven't known John for as long as many of you have, but he has completely changed my life. I want to still be having adventures with this guy when we're old and gray. I know he is loved by so many people. We would really appreciate any help at all you can give. Thanks and God bless.
