Team Griffin- Mark's Legacy

Mark Griffin was so many things to so many people. He was a husband, father, son, fraternity brother, friend, co-worker, and comedian. He never met a stranger and his laugh was contagious and infectious. As such, we have been graciously overwhelmed by those going out of their way to try to figure out how to say thanks for the light and laughter he brought to them and what they can do to honor him and his family. Mark battled pancreatic cancer valiantly through laughter and grace for the last three years. He astounded seasoned doctors and oncologists with how well he demolished a cancer that was so vicious in its pursuit to extinguish his light. He beat odds and figures with every scan and contributed in experimental treatments to possibly help 'some other poor bastard'. At the time of his death he was cancer free. He beat the unbeatable, like a true Griffin. Unfortunately his body was exhausted and started shutting down which ultimately led to his death on Tuesday, March 21st at 6:28 pm. This fund is to continue to Mark's legacy and will provide support to his loving wife and children as they grieve and do all they can to figure out how life can go on without the center of their worlds to keep them going.
