The Victim Of The Church In Egypt
Don protégé
St. Mark’s Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in Cairo was bombed during mass on Sunday, December 11, killing 25 and wounding 49, mostly women and children. But this was just the beginning of the tragedy. For those who were wounded—many severely—it has been difficult, often impossible to pay for the medical care they need. Although each victim received a small compensatory payment and emergency care, the hospitals require full payment before beginning reconstructive surgery or therapy. Close friends of mine were in the Cathedral when it was bombed and are now struggling to get the treatment they need. My brother is in contact with the victims and trying to help as many people as possible. Through this campaign, you can help us provide care to those whose lives were torn apart by this bombing.
