Kevin Vickers' Family

My cousin, Kevin Vickers died unexpectedly last night from complications from the flu. He was the provider for his family. His wife Shanda has to pickup and start providing for her boys all alone. This account has been set-up to help his wife, Shanda and sons: Ian and Seth manage until plans can be made moving forward.

Mr. Kevin Robert Vickers, 44, of Trinity, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2017, at High Point Regional Hospital.Born August 22, 1972, in Thomasville, Kevin was the son of William Robert and Addie Mae Cox Vickers. Kevin was a graduate of Ledford High School and was of the Baptist faith. He was manager of the body shop at the Greensboro Auto Auction. He loved spending time with his wife Shanda and father-son fishing trips to Ocracoke with Seth and Ian. He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents, and his mother-in-law, Brenda Crotts.On September 12, 1992, he married the former Shanda Crotts, who survives of the home. Also surviving are his sons, Seth Vickers and Ian Vickers; his parents, William “Rabbit” and Mae Vickers; brother, Eric Vickers and wife, Kelly; his beloved Shih Tzu, Cooper; and many cousins and extended family members.A Celebration of Kevin’s Life will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, in the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale, officiated by Rev. Steve Jarvis. The family will receive friend following the service at the funeral home.
