Fundraiser For Van with Lift

Donation protected
My name is Nekesha Smith. I have two kids and a caring husband who tries his best to work hard to pay my medical bills and take care of our household which is hard to do cause he had to stop working to be there by my side. On September 19, 2015 I went to the hospital because of excrushaing back pain and the doctors assume I just pulled a muscle because I work for a nursing home, so they sent me home. For two weeks I was going back and forth to the emergency room for pain from a Supa pubic abscess and they still didn't treat me medically like they was suppose to and on October 06, 2015 they finally decided to send me to a specialist in Montgomery Alabama he told me the reason I've been in so much pain was because I had staph infection/MRSA had the other doctors done a MRI or X Ray I would have been cured. After seeing the specialist. Oct.15, 2015 I got home from the doctor and I told my husband I was numb on my right side, he told me just lay down and rest so I got in the bed and about 5 minutes later after my husband left that's when I had to go to the restroom and soon as I got up I fell straight to the floor and I felt myself swelling up, I tried to reach my phone but couldn't move.My phone started ringing and I couldn't get to it so I was talking to my dog Busta like he can answer the phone but something amazing happen I quote I said Busta momma need the phone so my dog my baby pushed it all the way to the end of the bed then I grabbed it and called 911.Then he patiently laid there by my side until the ambulance arrived and I had to call my mom because Busta my dog would not let them touch me then once my mom got there they took me to Baptist East but they didn't have the equipment I needed so they had to transfer me from Baptist East to Baptist South and they had to put me in ICU for about two weeks and that's when they told me I was paralyzed, my heart dropped and I felt like my world was over, I didn't want to live another day I felt like I would be no good to my family, I constantly pray for better days, my kids needs me. I have doctor's appointments out of town 2 hours away once a week and that's hard for me.I barely can get back and forth to all my doctor appointments and physical therapy. Anything can help nothing's to small to help me with my medical expenses, and I need a lift van to help transport me from day to day. Thank you so much for your prayers, donation or a share will be greatly appreciated. I smile to keep from crying, depression is real and there's nothing nice about it. Please keep me in your prayers.
