As many of you know our beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, Alicia was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. We have had so many people reach out to ask what they can do to help. We are so thankful for everyone’s generosity and willingness to aide us during this difficult time so we decided to set up this Venmo / Go Fund Me page.
We thought Alicia was on the mend after completing extensive treatment. She was originally diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer nearly 2 years ago. This devastating news was given to her while she was seven months pregnant. She insisted on giving birth full term, only to start chemo one month after little Alexandra came into this world. In her treatment, Alicia endured four months of the most aggressive chemotherapy, surgery to remove the remaining tumor, 36 sessions of level 3 radiation in addition to 6 months of daily oral chemo therapy to kill any rogue cells. Although the doctors said she did everything she possibly could, the cancer nevertheless came back. This time, it is stage 4 spreading to liver, lungs and brain. She recently endured a gamma knife radiation treatment to shrink the brain tumors and began her life long chemo infusions.
Alicia has a supportive family and two little kids who love their mom so, so much. She also has amazing group of friends and family who keep her spirits high. The support has been amazing. By starting this page we hope to make it easier for those who would like to to contribute directly. We’d simply like to allow those who want to give something to do so here and we will put it to whatever needs and care Alicia has along the way.
