Dakoda Fund

Today was a roller coaster ride to say the least. I get a promotion at work and life is good until I come home to find out that my dog is having trouble breathing because she ate something that she shouldn't have.

All of you that have met Dakoda know that she has an incredibly loving spirit and makes you happy every time you see her. For those that don't know Koda, I rescued her back in June and she has been a big part of my life since then. She's only about a year old, is very well trained, and loves to party!

I brought her to the hospital tonight and while they don't yet know what she ate, they had to act fast because her heart rate was in critical condition, she was having trouble breathing, and was showing signs of neurological defects. The GOOD NEWS is that the doctor assured me that Dakoda is in good hands and that she hopes to see a full recovery in the next few days.

Many of you understand that a pet hospital visit is extremely expensive. Tag on multiple tests, an overnight stay, and medications, and you rack up quite the bill.  With that said, I am reaching out to all of my family, friends, acquaintances, colleagues, etc... for the slightest donation to help out with the $1,000+ medical bill.

My goal is to reach $500 by the end of the month. Any and all donations would be greatly appreciated! 

My hope is that Dakoda will be back to normal by tomorrow night. I will continue to post updates as I hear them.
