Our friend Ryan was the back seat passenger in a motor vehicle accident this past weekend. Ryan sustained severe fractures to his cervical and thoracic spines, along with other injuries. He has already under gone one neck surgery yesterday and will go back into surgery today in hopes to stabilize his neck. He will still require another surgery to repair his shoulder. Ryan is 29 years old, a hard worker, avid guitarist and over all a great guy. He has a sense of humor that will make you laugh at pretty much anything, no matter how your feeling at the moment. For as long as I've known him he's always been supportive and willing to help anyone out. He doesn't deserve the cards that have been dealt to him. Ryan will have a very long road ahead of him. He will be out of work for a very long time as a result of his injuries, and as we know the medical bills will begin to pile up. His health insurance will not cover all of the expenses needed in his recovery. He has so much going on the last thing on his mind should be how will I pay for all of this. With permission from Ryan and his family I ask that you PLEASE find it in your heart to donate something to help him through this difficult time. If you cannot donate please consider sharing this page for him. Thank You!

Everyone has been so generous and Ryan is truly appreciative.
It is amazing what big hearts everyone has and we don't know how we could possibly repay everyone except someday pass it forward. Thank you, which is really not enough, but I don't know what else to say but thank you from the bottom of my heart
My son is still here due to all your wishes and prayers.

UPDATE from Ryan's Mom
The surgery went well according to the doctor they did a posterior cervical fusion from c2 to t1
He said there was way more damage than expected
They don't know how he wasn't paralyzed
He was in a lot of pain but was able to communicate with us
They are doing another cat scan this morning to check everything
Hopefully they will take the breathing tubes out today if the swelling isn't too bad and he breathes well on his own
Next surgery is scheduled for Thursday to fix the shoulder

Ryan, you were always looking out for us growing up and there to protect us. I don't know what kind of trouble we would have gotten into without you. You are such a funny and kind hearted soul who would do anything for the people you love, and so now it's time to give back to you during this time. You deserve this comfort more then anyone for when you are feeling better and getting back on your feet. So many positive thoughts to you to heal ❤️

Ryan is in hartford hospital. He is still in critical condition, so we ask no visitors until he has gotten all of his surgeries out of the way! He is doing very well and today he asked me to show him this page, and he was floored by the response it has gotten. Thank you all so much!!
