Yaroshenko Family Loss

On the morning of February 6, 2017, a young, vibrant life was unexpectedly cut short. Yura Yaroshenko took his last breath and went to be with the Lord. He was a wonderful son, a loving brother, a precious grandson and an awesome friend. Everyone who was touched by Yura’s life will miss him dearly.
Only two years ago, Petya and Luba Yaroshenko along with their six children (Julia, Vova, Petya, Yuriy, Rita and Vitaliy) moved to Sacramento, California from Ukraine. The transition was hard for the grown children but they slowly adjusted as they met new people and served in their local church. Yura especially loved to spend time with the youth and was a regular volunteer at the construction site of the new church building. He was also a valuable member of the Grace Trinity Church AG youth choir. Yura was one of the happiest people! A grin was always on his face and a jolly word on his lips. The youth, church, and the community will feel this huge loss deeply.
Just yesterday, on the 5th of February, Yura celebrated his 21st birthday. As the third oldest son, he brought his family a lot of joy and was doing what he loved to the last moment. On Saturday, he was once again serving at the church construction and on Sunday morning, he was worshipping Jesus with the rest of us. However, at around 1am on Sunday evening, after his birthday celebrations, Yura was taken to the emergency room due to flu complications and a very high fever. After a long battle in intensive care, Yura’s struggles ceased. This sudden loss shook the world of the Yaroshenko family. We cannot completely understand the pain they are going through right now. We cannot even find the words to comfort them. However, our prayers and financial support will help this family walk through this valley in their life.
“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain” Revelation 21:4. Yesterday we celebrated your earthly birthday. Today we celebrate your birth into a new life, a better life. We will see you soon!
