Emotional Support Animal Surgery

What happens when your Emotional Support Animal gets sick?

Unfortunately, I have to find out.

My name is Lily and I have an Emotional Support Animal (ESA), a dog named Birdie, to help me with my disability.  (For more info on what an ESA is, see below.) The difference she has made in my life cannot be overstated. She helps me get through the most difficult times of my illness and makes those times more bearable.

Imagine my horror when on Saturday, January 23 Birdie started having difficulty walking. By Monday she couldn't walk at all and I had to take her to the hospital. I learned that she had a spinal condition that required surgery or she wouldn't walk again and could possibly die.

The surgery and post-operative care costs $4500. I have $2500 but I need help with the remaining $2000.

Please consider helping me get surgery for Birdie. Helping Birdie will help me succeed in life despite my disability.

Please donate. Anything will help.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
