ArStrong World Transplant Games 2017
Donation protected
My name is Aaron Rouselle. I received an emergency liver transplant just two weeks after a completely unrelated cancer operation. Prior to my health issues, I was in peak physical condition and played multiple sports at a very competitive level. When I lost the ability to play sports, I became severely depressed and had no idea what to do with myself. As my health improved, I was able to slowly get back into sports and started to improve mentally and physically.
I am now at the point in my life where I am confident that I can compete at a high level again. By competing in the World Transplant Games I can show my children, everyone who helped me, and myself that as long as you are still breathing, you can accomplish anything you set your mind to.
I plan to represent Team U.S.A. in The World Transplant Games in Malaga, Spain from June 25th to July 2nd. I will be participating in volleyball, basketball, and some track and field events in the 30-39 age group.
My friends, family, and the community has already gone above and beyond to help me with my recovery. I would love to be able to fund all of this myself. Unfortunately, I cannot afford a trip to Spain on my own. I have more than 1,000 friends on social media if everyone could donate 4 dollars, that would pay for travel, lodging, and food for the week in Spain.
Help me bring home the Gold.
I appreciate any donation you can make. Thank you in advance! God Bless and Donate Life!!!!
