Meet Andrew, Lisa and Mellissa. We recently travelled to the Nepal Earthquake Zone to donate 250 backpacks to school children affected by the earthquake in April 2015.
The children, teachers and community were extremely grateful for the backpacks and showed their appreciation by singing, dancing and blessings. We were humbled by the experience but what we found at the school astounded us.
We were met with makeshift classrooms made from plywood, chicken wire, corrugated iron and DIRT FLOORS! Tables & chairs still damaged and very little resources.
We have seen what a small amount of money can do and now we want to do more. Our aim is to build new classrooms or even a whole school. With your help we can achieve this.
Please be assured 100% of the money collected will benefit the school children of Nepals Earthquake Region as Lisa, Mellissa and I have already committed to return to Nepal and help again.
