Backpacking In the Dominican

This year, I'm going on a mission's trip with my youth group to the Dominican Republic. We will be with Sam and Irene Serrano, missionaries to the Dominican and we leave June 8th and return June 17th. I have decided that I'll be backpacking this trip. That means my checked bag will be filled with toys and other amenities to give out to the children and families we'll be ministering to and my carry on bag will be with only a couple of pairs of pants and other amenities. I will NOT be bringing any electronics during the trip, but I will be bringing a Polaroid camera that will only need film and a flashbar to complete my list of things to bring. I encourage you to donate not only to helping and ministering to people in need, but to donate to help this God loving white kid become wrecked physically and spiritually. During this trip, we will be completing a construction project at a local church in the community we will be visiting, conduct a three day Vacation Bible School for the children in the local community, and evangelize and spread the gospel through song, drama, and preaching while in the Dominican.
