Get Sam to Germany for treatment!
To those that don't know, I was diagnosed with Incurable Bowel Cancer in Oct 2015 after finding a small lump on the right side of my stomach. I had no previous symptoms & was otherwise fit & healthy. I had a 5 hour operation in Sept to remove 10cm of my bowel, my ovaries, womb, appendix & stomach lining. 25 lymph nodes were removed & 22 of them had cancer present.
After undergoing 10 cycles of chemo I was given the all clear & had a fabulous summer with my family whilst eating everything in sight trying to gain some weight (i dropped from 12st before my op to 7st after chemo).
Sadly in Sept 16 a ct scan showed disease progression in the lymph nodes of my abdomen & chest & a further scan 2 days before Christmas has shown at least 2 new tumors on my liver! I am about to start a different chemo combination to try & shrink the lymph node growth enough that I can be considered for a liver resection, however my ultimate aim would be to go to Germany for pioneering life saving immune therapy, sadly something that isn't offered in this country.
This is where I'm hoping my friends & family will be able to help. Never in my life would I want to ask you all for money, but sadly my life is begining to depend on it!!! If you can spare me even £1 it will go towards natural suppliments to boost my immune system, specialist blood tests to rule out what works on my type of cancer & ultimately a trip to Germany for treatment. It really does break my heart to have to ask for help but I'm not ready to leave my 4 beautiful children, my wonderful hubby, mum, dad & sister just yet xxx
