My daughter’s Jillian’s mom and stepdad need your help. Their family dog (who is another child to them) is currently in the animal hospital under going emergency surgery.
What started with a silly dog eating a sock has turned into being told Henry won’t make it without a very invasive intestinal surgery and a week stay in the animal hospital.
The bill is so high that some have said “we understand if you need us put him to sleep”.
Let me tell you a little bit about Henry:
Henry is a 2 year old lab mix who is the family dog but my daughter Jillian’s best friend. Henry waits at the window for Jill to get off the bus. Henry sleeps at the foot of Jill’s bed. Henry is not someone who gets “put to sleep”. He is 2. He has so much more love to give to this family.
The vet bill as of now is approaching $6500.00.
The kids understand there will be no Christmas presents under the tree this year due to these expenses. Credit cards have been maxed.
If anyone can find it in their heart to donate anything, even $5 it will mean the world to this family.
Feel free to reach out to Torey to confirm, but they didn’t want to make a Go Fund Me. But I also know that the options of maxing out credit cards, and having to tell their kids there’s no Christmas hurt them a lot. (And Torey has known me for almost 20 years and should know I’m not good at listening or following directions )
I’m helping and I hope some of you can as well. If anyone knows Torey or Patrick, they both would be the first one to help a person in need.
