Sons Of Single Mothers Mentoring Day

This initiative is to raise funds for Lexington, KY nonprofit Believing In Forever's monthly mentoring opportunity dedicated to boys living in single mother households! All the statistics show that children from fatherless households face more challenges than those with fathers. We want to combat those challenges by providing these young men with positive male role models from the community on a monthly basis. Theme parks, water parks, church, college visits, museums, poetry open mics, movies, amateur golf, are just some of the activities we engaged in last year as a way to not only be present in their lives but inspire them to achieve greatness in every aspect of their lives. Last year I pretty much funded this project out of pocket. This year I'm searching for help from the community.
