Our new rescue puppies Carmen and Blaze, and Mom Velvet broke with Parvo over the weekend. Please help us sace them!
Carmen broke with the illness on Thursday night and has had a rough few days. She's hospitalized with IV fluids and meds. The vet tech texted this evening and said she seemed stable tonight so hopefully she'll turn the corner in the next 48 hours.
Her brother Blaze broke with Parvo on Friday and started IV fluids and meds yesterday. He's doing a bit better than his sister and looked good tonight. Hopefully we'll be able to start him on some food and get his IV pulled.
Velvet, the momma dog, got sick last night, Saturday, and was given subcutaneous fluids and meds today. She's stable and we're hoping she wont need an IV. Since she's older her immune system is stronger and she may get "lucky" and get a mild version.
