The Summer Vacation They Never Had

Donation protected
Here's a family photo of the Langs when they were a family of four. Aubrey & Colton weren't even in existence! It has been at least that long since Rob and Velvet have been on a summer vacation.  They gave up their summers for several decades to bring kids to Christ.  Wow, what a commitment.  I thought it'd be nice to thank Pastor Rob and Velvet in a tangible way by sending them off with money towards a summer vacation of their dreams.

At first I put the amount at $1000 but changed it to $5000 a few days later.  I thought, "Go big or go home." That's the way Rob and Velvet live their life.  When they got to Cohutta Springs Youth Camp 16 years ago they had a vision to make it great,  AND THEY DID.  Please see list below for all the BIG improvements they made.  You will be shocked.

They have made so many parents and kids dreams come true by providing an exceptional camp experience.  For some campers this was the only summer vacation they had.  For others experiencing CSYC through the Campership Fund  was a dream come true.

So lets go big and contribute money towards a dream vacation for Rob and Velvet.  A vacation that would include airfare, hotel, car rental, and food.

On December 1 the staff are having a goodbye party for Rob and Velvet before they transition to the North Pacific Union for their next chapter.  We would like to present the final amount to them that evening.  That doesn't give us a lot of time!  I know it's short notice, but I believe if everyone contributes something big or small we can reach our goal.  Thanks for your contribution and thanks for making dreams come true.  #GoBigOrGoHome #$5K #RobAndVelvetsSummerVacation2019
