Dingman Boys Sad Sad Trucks
Let me tell you a little about my son's Brandon and Joshua.....Twin boys who have worked hard to get to where they are in life. They have been working since they were 16 and full time since graduating to pretty much fund all their activities on their own because of our (their parents) financial restraints.
Brandon and Joshua....In pure twin fashion..Ha,Ha.....Received their licences within a day of each other, THEN proceeded to each buy a used truck for themselves within a few days of each other. I can not tell you how proud of them I am on this financial accomplishment.
Used, used, used......There lies the concern. Their father gets the vehicles on the road with plates and registrations; which each of them paid for themselves, and they are so excited. Well.... Brandon's truck suddenly becomes uncontrollable to drive veering him all over the road. Towed to the shop after one day of driving. Joshua comes home the next day and says he has no breaking pressure.... So now our shop has both of their newly purchased trucks, with SO many repairs necessary to even be able to safely drive them off the lot, and their funds are gone now since they saved up for the purchases.
They are looking at over $5000 combined in repairs! Gear box, power steering stuff, Stabilizer links, ball joints, CV shafts and boots, idler arm, shocks, radiator hoses, brake lines, sway bars. This list is gynormous, and I am feeling so horrible that I am unable to help them since I have been out of work on disability for almost 2 years with no court date known yet. We struggle with necessities, and have no back up resources anymore to help with those items, much less this whammy of unfortunate circumstances.
Any amounts will help them cover these repairs and aid them in regaining their self reliance. They work so hard and help anyone in anyway they are able.
