Update 8/14/17: Sadly, after a long hard battle, Bobby lost his battle with cancer on 8/11/17. He left behind a loving wife, 5 children, 7 grandchildren, 3 siblings, many nieces and nephews, and his mother. Please donate to help my mom pay his funeral expenses and any remaining medical bills. In November 2015 my dad was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, Angiosarcoma. A tumor was found in his shoulderblade. He went through chemo, had surgery to remove his right shoulder blade and the affected soft tissue and muscle, and went through radiation afterwards to eliminate any remaining cancer. In February we found out that the cancer was back. This time it was in three places, the adrenal glands, lung, and lymph nodes. He also has a bleed somewhere that they cannot find. He did a trial study at Sara Cannon, but found out the cancer had spread, and was disqualified from the study. He did radiation to help with pain, and has only been able to do one round of chemo. He became dehydrated, anemic, and had to be admitted to the hospital on multiple occasions for those issues.
My parents believe in hard work, and as soon as he could be released to go back to work in 2016, he went back. He had been with the same company for over 30 years. Now he is retired. His insurance that was paid for through his work is up at the end of this month. My mom worked and lost her job due to all of the appointments. They have no savings any more because they used it while he was out of work during the first round.
I am asking for help for them because they stand to lose everything because of the cancer. They are some of the hardest working people I know and they do not deserve to lose it all because of something they cannot control. Please help! Thank you in advance!
