My name is Jodi Weber, and I am helping my parents, Joe and Mae Polefrone, set up this page to help their nephew's son, Dan Patrino. Dan's parents, Donald (my cousin) and Ellen, have shared their heartbreaking story of trying to support their son and his family both emotionally and financially, but it is an overwhelming task. Dan's story is one that is all too familiar. After his position crashed along with the economy, Dan spiraled, turning to alcohol to cope. Like so many challenged with this disease, he tried over and over to break the addiction, failing each time. Now, he is in the hospital struggling to live. Dan told his minister that he simply wants to live to be able to be a good dad to his son. Please pray that he gets that opportunity.
We are reaching out to you in hopes that you might be willing to help support Dan's young son, Michael Vincent Patrino, as well as the medical bills that are piling up. We would love for Michael to have a memorable Christmas and for Don and Ellen to have help with the bills. During this time of the year, in particular, we often seek ways to reach out and help our family and friends, as well as complete strangers, and we are asking that you consider the Patrino family. $10 can buy a little boy a wonderful Christmas gift!

Please tell everone thank you for helping. I just want to get better and be a good father to my son". Ellen said the doctor was just in and that things don't look good and asks for your prayers. She also said, "It makes us feel so good to know that people know that Dan is a good man and that people care."
