A Vampire Diaries Birthday Roadtrip

As many of you know, I am a huge fan of The Vampire Diaries. I watch it with my husband. I watch it with my roommate. I watch it with my son. I even watch it while I'm not watching it, on my computer. (see image below)
Every year my husband asks me what I want as a gift, and each year I come up with something. A necklace, a bracelet, a DVD, or a video game. Fun stuff. Nice stuff. But it's all just stuff. This year I don't want stuff. This year I want an experience. I want a memory that won't break, depreciate or expire. I want to spend it with close friends and do something I'd probably never do alone.
With all that being said, this year for my birthday I'd like to take a tour of Mystic Falls. For those that don't watch the show, Mystic Falls is the fictional town The Vampire Diaries is filmed in. The sets and on location sites are located in Covington, Georgia.
But this won't be any old road trip. My friend Diana will be driving from Maryland to meet us there. The 4 of us will be touring sets from Mystic Falls in the morning, and then touring sets from The Originals (a TVD spin off) that evening.
Our trip is scheduled for August 14th-17th. We are hoping the spend 3 nights in Georgia stalking vampires, celebrities, and exploring Covington. It will be glorious! And of course, we'll be taking as many photos and videos as we can. You'll feel like you were there with us!
In closing, this year instead of asking for another "thing" or more "stuff" I'm asking that you donate to my Vampire Diaries experience. :) Any funds raised will be used to help pay for gas, tour tickets, and hotel stay.
