The Guy who helps so many needs help

Hi I am Alfio Amore Sr. I am writing today to ask for help. My son is Al. Al is a very proud man and will probably be upset with me, for setting up this Go Fund Me. But Al is in dire need, he financially needs help in a way he would never express. Over the past few months, Al has selflessly taken me to countless Doctor's appointments, as well as moved myself & his step mother from NH back to Beverly. He took care of all our packing, moving, unpacking running back & forth to jobs all the while still getting me to all my appointments & procedures. He never spoke a word of the additional duties or complained about the loss of work, while he made sure My wife & I were ok. Al never thinks twice about helping those in need. Al never does anything for a thank you or to be recognized. If someone needs help he does it to the best of his ability with a smile. Al has been struggling with muscle spasms in his legs, neck, back & shoulders since late October early November. He has been unable to work the majority of November. Now on top of his recent loss, he has been struck with recurring case of Bells Palsy which paralyze's 3/4 of his face along with agonizing head pain. Upon his release from his most recent hospitalization, he has also found that he has blockages in his arteries to his heart. Heart Disease, Stroke and pre-mature death with heart related issues are family history for him on both my side and his Mom's side. He will be making immediate changes & begin seeing specialists to take care of these findings. As we feel fortunate we were able to learn of Al's conditions before things could have been a lot worse. Bottom line Al has pretty much been out of work for the past month & most likely will not be able to return anytime within this coming month as well. Al works hard, he loves what he does. He takes a great amount of pride supporting his large family (as he calls it, yours, mine, ours & others with his bright smile) Al & Kara both work extremely hard, both physical jobs. Like many they barely make it. Tuitions, loans, cars, insurances, rent, household bills & imagine feeding them all. Now Hospital Bills are piling up daily. Al can't miss a couple of days, forget a couple of months. I know he is already in trouble, the bills are doubling over. The Holidays are coming and I am beside myself thinking of his state of mind. The Doctor's say he needs to let go of stress, Al can't let go of stress when life is going seamlessly. I barely make it myself on a fixed income and we can't even help him. It makes me so sad to see a man who never complains, never tells anyone his problems, makes sure all children are cared for and live worry free. He carries more on his shoulders than most would ever believe. Instead he always asks, how you're doing! He tries to always help others, and I know many of you know this about him. It always makes me proud to see what people write about him on FB. His mother was the same way! As much as people see him do, he does much more without anyone ever knowing. Many times I have said you can't work for free, or cost. He says Dad, so many people have done so much for me, and sometimes people need help. If I can give them a ceiling or bathroom, and they don't have the money now, I am sure they will help someone else when they can. Then he just walks off and smiles! Al is a kind and generous man, and he is in serious need. It breaks my heart! He tries to put on a happy face, but I know my son, he is not. Kara has shared with me she hears him weep while in the shower and it makes her fall apart, although she will never let the outside know that. They are proud, strong and resourceful people, but this is beyond them without assistance. I know that this is a tough time of year for all, but please if you can help me, help Al I'd be forever grateful! If you can't, Al is a man of faith, would you please pray for him, his family and share this. It's kind of funny it's The Christmas Season! People that know Al, know how much he loves the Christmas Season, he always says it's the best Time of the year, because people are happier, kinder, and treat each other nicer during this season. People will ask, is he singing Happy Holidays in July, and I would say, yes! he sings that all year round, thinking it will make people smile more if you make them think about Christmas! Please help me get Al's smile back this Christmas Season. Sincerely a very humbled and grateful man Alfio Sr. (Al's Dad)
