where to start?
january 11, 2000 frank was injured while working. he was working on a bobcat and was crushed by the arms of the bucket. receiving many injuries he was conscious. went to hospital in jamestown where they sent him to fargo. a few surgeries in fargo and they flew him to hennepin county medical center in minneapolis. after countless surgeries and almost 7 months in the hospital he WALKED out of there. he beat the odds set by his doctors. living through surgeries, walking out of the hospital, surving a year, going back to work, making every year a new milestone. he worked up until april 2010. beating those odds as well. the doctors told him to either stop working or risk dying. he has been here living life as he can. we have spent some days in the hospitals since then. he has a gastrointestinal bleed that starts and stops sporadically. he has gotten many blood transfusions throughout the years. most recently april 15, 2016 he was admitted to the hospital in fargo for this bleed. since then he has received 13 units of blood. many tests with no good results. the doctors are unable to find the bleed to fix it. our last hope is either the bleed subsiding on its own or a clotting agent. this agent is not FDA approved for this type of bleeding so doctors are unsure if they want to give it. this account was started to help pay for cost of his family coming to visit him as he does better when he is able to see his loved ones!
