Lisa Covington Liver Transplant

Donation protected
I have always said that asking for help is the hardest thing to do, but I can not do this alone. I need y'alls help. My wife Lisa has End stage liver disease (stage 4), and needs a liver transplant.
In the last week of March she wasn't feeling well and her stomach was swelling up, she had developed jaundice real bad and was hurting on her right side. I thought she had a gallbladder problem. She said she wanted to wait to go to the doctor, thought she might feel better in a couple of days. On April 1st  we went to emergency room in Lockney and they immediately took her to UMC in Lubbock. Within hours we got the bad news that her liver was in total failure and that she would need a liver transplant. The cancer markers were very high in her blood work, so they set her up for some other test to rule out the cancer in the liver. In the following days, after numerous MRI's, CT scans, Endoscopy, they ruled out the cancer in her liver. They will do other test when she gets healthier to rule out cancer in her lower body, hopefully that will be clean also, that way we can concentrate on the liver and the problems that is causing. They had to do a Paracentesis to get the fluid off of her abdomen, about 4 liters (wow). This fluid never goes away because the liver is not working. Over the next several days they took her for this procedure several times. We are controlling this problem with medication now. They also put her on a feeding tube because she could not eat and was very malnourished from not eating much the last couple of months.
I brought Lisa home a few days ago and she is doing better (Thank the Lord). Now we just have to manage the symptoms that a non working liver creates, and it is not easy. We will go on the 3rd of May to find out more on her rating on the Donor list and a time period for all of this. I know I'm not very good with words, but I have been with by my wife 24/7 the last month and I need a little help. The medication and followup Doctors fee's are enough to choke a horse. Hopefully I will get back to work in a couple of weeks and start generating some income. Our families have been a big help and we are very thankfull for that.
I know times are hard for everyone and money seems to be in short supply these days, but anything you can do would be much appreciated, even a dollar would help.
Thanks everybody, if you can't donate money, donate your prayers for Lisa, she needs all the prayers she can get.
