The Mission for Michael Grossman

The decision to start this fund raising did not come without much thought and deliberation. My family has decided to start this account for my brother Michael because we love him more than anything and we know if he was able to he would do the same for one of us if we needed it. For those of you who haven't been informed or have heard bits and pieces from scattered sources, Michael was involved in a near fatal car accident. His injuries are so numerous and horrific I don't feel that it would be appropriate to list them as of this date and I would ask that everyone please understand and respect my families feelings regarding the specifics of Michael's condition as of right now. It is a very hard time for my family, being that the accident happened while Michael was living in Florida and my family lives in various parts of D.C., Maryland and Virginia. My mother and sister and her husband were with Michael initially when we got news of the accident from the hospital. Unfortunately my family cannot afford to stay with Michael while he is still in ICU recovering from multiple surgeries and they are attempting to keep him stabilized. Typing these words makes me cry ....because I would trade places with my brother in a heartbeat if I could. He's an amazing person and even though he made this horrible mistake in which he  nearly killed himself; I know Michael is a pure person with good intentions and convictions. I ask that anyone who cares enough to give a helping hand PLEASE DO. I know when Michael finally awakens from this seemingly never ending nightmare he would be so touched that his family and friends all over as well as those who don't even know him have reached out and gave anything they could. I know this is in God's plan. I want to thank you all who have had Michael in your Prayers. And I ask that you continue to pray for my brother and all those affected by this incident.
