Liz's Fight Against Ovarian Cancer!

Donation protected
Welcome to Elizabeth Revis (aka Liz's) go fund me page!  We are some friends reaching out to help a friend in need.  Elizabeth is one of the most friendly, kind hearted, and loyal people you will ever meet.  Elizabeth is a single mother of 2 beautiful childeren, currently in her 2nd week of chemotherapy  for ovarian cancer.  Our hopes are to raise money to off set the cost of medical bills, and help Liz meet and sustain her basic needs,  allowing her to stop work so she can focus on recovery.  In addition to working full time as an amazing hairdresser, Liz has been in school to become an ultrasound tech, which is now being put on hold.  Work for Liz demands long hours on her feet, which at this point is just not possible with the constant pain she experiences from her tumor and debilitating side affects of chemo.  It would mean so much to help support Liz in her battle againts ovarian cancer, and help offset the cost of this life altering disease by giving her the opportunity to only focus on recovery.  The sooner we can help the sooner she can stop working.

These are Liz's words to her family and friends:
"THE BEGINNING
About 5 years ago, I had an ovary removed along with what *they* called a "borderline" tumor. Now I'm no medical professional and all you smarty pants on my page are welcome to correct me, but a borderline tumor is like pre-cancer. It's not cancer yet, but I'm lucky I caught it early. Well my single ovary must have been working over time because not three months later I was pregnant with my second little bundle of joy, Hendrix.
5 years later (and a bunch of Dr hopping and misdiagnosis that we shall save for another post), a mass was discovered entwined in my abdominal wall. What does ovarian cancer have to do with a mass in a muscle you might ask? Because I was confused as well. Apparently, and this is something that almost NEVER happens, there must have been a molecule or two of that borderline tumor left after surgery, that floated it's way to my lower abdomen and planted itself in my abdominal muscle. So the diagnosis is officially Ovarian Cancer. In my abdominal muscle. Womp wooooomp
HOWEVER! The prognosis is awesome. This oversized bully is causing me extreme pain and discomfort but in the end I will kick its ass. Chemo is on the menu to shrink this bad boy first. Then surgery to remove it, and finally chemo or radiation or some combination to make sure this sneaky rascal doesn't return.
Thanks again everyone for your love, support, prayers, thoughts, good juju. I'm plugging right along and I'm so glad to have you guys to cry/rant/celebrate each victory with. "

Thank you for your time and support, any donation is appreciated.  May you all be blessed!!
