Movember For Eli

Eli Forrester is a 12 yo boy who is battling an uncommon form of soft tissue sarcoma called Rhabdomyosarcoma. Diagnosed more than 6 years ago, Eli has undergone over 38 months of intense chemotherapy, 68 sessions of radiation and several relapses. Being treated in Perth but calling Geraldton home has translated to extensive periods away from home, large amounts of missed education and fractured and irregular family income. We have now reached a point in our journey where conventional medicine offers no more options for us, and with the advancing disease we have had to search for other avenues. Alternative therapies are less medically invasive but equally time consuming and represent a large expense. We have embarked on a protocol with a nutritionist that specialised in clients with extensive medical history, particularly chemo and radiation. Already we have seen subtle positive changes in Eli, and sincerely hope this will improve and provide the quality of life he so deserves. Our deepest appreciation to Daf and all of you for wanting to help, it is truly humbling to be the recipients of such generosity and support. I would love to keep everyone updated with Elis progress and live in hope that this will be the key to reaching our goal - CURE
