1. Who we are: Erin and John Tamplet
2. Where we live: Boerne Texas
3. Our relationship to the parties we are collecting for: We lived in Livingston Parish in Louisiana until 2012 and we were members of Christ's Community Church on Juban Road in Denham Springs. We have collected donations to bring to Louisiana and have created this account to help pay for transportation to get it to Louisiana.
4. Funds will be spent to rent a U Haul truck to deliver the donated supplies and for fuel for the U Haul and 3 other vehicles delivering the donations.
5. We will withdraw the funds into our personal bank account and use the money for gas and truck rental.

I am Erin Tamplet, my husband John and I live in Boerne Texas but grew up in the Baton Rouge Louisiana area. We still have family and many friends there.
11 days ago on Saturday August 13th, my husband and I sat in shock as we monitiored the situation in Louisiana, the place we moved from about 4 years ago, he place where we both grew up, the place where our babies were born, the place where our family and friends live. We "watched" on facebook as our family and friends were flooded, rescued (some in the middle of the night) and sometimes even rescued a 2nd time.
We knew in that moment we "Had to do SOMETHING", little did we know that God would turn our "something" into SOMETHING HUGE!
The kind hearted citizens of Boerne Texas have been very generous. God had worked miracles through these people.
We attend Nineteen:Ten Church in Boerne and they have help us organize our donation drive.
5 days ago we had 3 or 4 bags of donated clothes in our garage. Today, our double garage is packed floor to ceiling with supplies ready to bring to Louisiana, we also have a 20 ft trailer that is almost filled as well and a 12 foot enclosed trailer that will be loaded.
We never imagined that it would grow like it has, but we believe that God provided these supplies and we will do whatever it takes to get it to these folks. We are hoping to get someone to volunteer another truck with trailer but that may not be an option.
We are simply asking for enough funds to rent a moving truck, provide fuel for that truck and offer to cover the fuel for the other volunteers that are driving their personal cars.
We will be delivering these supplies directly to Christ's Community Church on Juban Road in Denham Springs. This church has worked tirelessly throughout the flooding, first as a shelter and now as a distribuiton center of meals and supplies for the needy. They estimate that they serve 1,000+ people a day with meals, clothes and cleaning supplies.
