My mom Kee Kee is the most determined person I know! Nothing in life can hold her back! In only one year, my mother was able to lose over 100 pounds. Her journey has inspired her family and thousands through her highly visited Instagram page @love_keekee. My mother loves to encourage other women to become happy and healthy and she uses herself as an example. Her motto is "Change is Possible". My mother loves and appreciates all of her supporters and over the past few years has changed lives everyday with her fitfam, on Instagram and FitBit. Let's give her some of that love and support right back that she gives us every single day!
This month, my mother was diagnosed with cervical cancer. As a family, we have been praying constantly and defeating cancer one day at a time. The reason for this campaign is because my mother will be undergoing a few months of chemotherapy and internal as well as external radiation. My hope as a daughter is to enable her to focus all of the tenacity and courageness she put into fighting obesity into BEATING CANCER!
My mom is so brave and selfless she is already talking about what she can do to help others with cancer. She is already researching starting a support group for women who have diagnosed with Cervical Cancer. These donations will help our mom cover all costs associated with her treatments and to focus only on chemo and radiation. Cancer is VERY expensive to treat. My mom is determined to beat this and therefore only wants to see the best doctors and the best cancer treatment centers, whether her insurance covers it or not! My mother is determined to do all of this while still paying for my college tuition at University of Delaware. My sister and I want to help her do that! Our mom has literally changed lives and inspired people from all over the world to be their best selves. Her light shines in so many ways. Thank you in advance for helping us continue this journey.
