This Train Artists' collective project

Donation protected
This Train Artists' collective has been invited by Healthy Start to help John Still (Public) Elementary with a HUGE and wonderful project. We humbly ask for your support. All our programs are free to the community and to all who participate. Funds raised will go towards artists' stipends. The more artists who can participate, the better.

John Still serves the Meadowview community in Sacramento, Ca. Due to recent school closures they have merged two campuses, transitioned to a k-8, and serve nearly 1,000 students. Needless to say, the children have been through many transitions. Most of the children have never had an art class and do not know that behind locked doors resides a dusty Kiln! And, many other beautiful art supplies that have been sitting for who knows how long (the school was formerly an "Art Magnet").

This Train Art Collective will provide:

1. Support!
2.Weekly open studio serving over 80 children at a time.
3.A lunch time concert series in the beloved "Clothes Closet" (formerly the Art Room).
4.Free Community Art workshops at the Healthy Family spaghetti dinner event
5. Help to organize field trips to art enrichment in the greater community
6. A clay artist to help revitalize the Kilns and clay art department.

Please do not hesitate to contact yours truly at [email redacted] for any inquiries.

Thank you for your fine support.

Yours,
Amy Reed
