CFHS Rocket Club Nat'l Contest Trip

We are the Rocket Club here at Cedar Falls High School (Cedar Falls, Iowa) and we need your help! We have worked very hard over the past 7 months to design, build, and test a rocket for the largest national rocketry contest, TARC, (www.rocketcontest.org) that takes 2 raw hen's eggs 850ft in the air and brings them back down without as much as a crack in them!
BUT WE DID IT! Our team's flights were among the Top 100 scores in the country (780 teams competed)
That's where you come in! We are located in the middle of the country (Iowa) and we need to get our team of rocket scientist students ALL THE WAY to WASHINGTON, D.C. (That's 3000 miles round trip)! This year's National Championship will be held May 14th, but we will be leaving a few days prior to get there. We have to pay for ALL expenses associated with our trip including gas, hotel, food, etc... We already raised enough money in the Fall to be able to build and fly our rocket and pay the entry fee for the contest, but the old bank account is starting to dry up!
These students have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity in front of them, and a chance to prove to the whole world that their hard work and enthusiasm has not gone unnoticed. Please consider helping these students achieve their dreams of winning the National Championships of TARC 2016! We leave May 12th so please consider making a donation before then! We cannot thank you enough if you were to help give these students this opportunity!
