Mission Statement: The Senior Center of West Seattle (SCWS) strives to promote independence and life enjoyment by providing access to medical/legal services, community housing resources, lifelong learning opportunities and social events to keep seniors engaged in our community.
The SCWS has been actively serving the senior population for 43 years and raising money to support seniors is more critical than ever. United Way has eliminated funding to Senior Centers. As a result, SCWS will lose $60,000. We very much need your help to continue funding the needs of the low-income seniors.
I urge you to contribute at a level where you can make a difference right here at home! Only with your generosity, can SCWS continue to support their low income seniors from merely surviving to genuinely thriving!
