Transplant surgery travel expenses

My best friend from grade-school is in End Stage Renal Failure. My husband is a perfect match for kidney donation! Now that transplant surgery has officially been scheduled, we are needing to make reservations for our trip! We will be in New Orleans for 12 days considering everything goes smooth with surgery. The American Transplant Foundation is helping cover some of our expenses however, just the cost of airline tickets will exceed that limit. We will gladly take donations to put towards hotel, food and car rental. ☺️ I am not one to ever talk about my husbands military career but as an active duty soldier for the past 24 years, he’s been selflessly serving his country and is now selflessly saving a life! He is our Hero in so many ways!! He’s given so much to everyone else and it would be amazing to witness others giving to him
