Transport Charlotte to Therapy Sessions

It's so hard for me to do this, but I do need help.

Charlotte is almost 11 years old, and we have been struggling with intense behavior issues"”at school, at home and in public"”for 6 years.

Charlotte has just been admitted to an intense behavior therapy clinic. She had been on the waiting list for over 3 years. She will be doing the program 5 days a week for as long as it takes.

Here's my funding request: I need to purchase a small, fuel-efficient car to transport her. Round trip is 60 miles. Five times a week makes 300 miles. I have a 1993 Jeep Cherokee that gets only 15 mpg. And the price of gas...

I want to purchase a used Scion xA, with decent mileage and under $10,000.

This is not for me, it's for Charlotte. She desperately needs this therapy and it could go on for a very long time. I need to make this as financially efficient as possible. Charlotte's insurance will not reimburse me for mileage.

If I raise enough to make that payment, I will give my Jeep to another mom of a special needs kiddo, who REALLY needs a better vehicle than what she has.
