Trina Soto's Pancreatic Cancer Fund

Up until a few weeks ago Trina was enjoying living a normal life, working hard and raising her awesome 17 year old son Jordan.  Trina is a wonderful mother to Jordan, a loving daughter, aunt, niece, cousin, friend, and works extremely hard as the sole financial supporter of her family.  On September 22, 2016 her life was about to be turned upside down.  Trina went to the ER complaining of abdominal pain, she was given a CAT Scan which revealed a mass on her pancreas and spots on her liver.  She was immediately admitted to the hospital where they performed another CAT Scan and two biopsies.  On October 5, 2016 doctors diagnosed her with STAGE 4 pancreatic cancer. Due to the size of her tumor it is inoperable at this time. In order to contain and shrink the tumors Trina’s Cancer has to be treated aggressively.  She began Chemotherapy at UCLA Medical Center on October 7, 2016 and will continue with this aggressive chemotherapy with hopes to shrink the tumors and stop the cancer from spreading.

We have been overwhelmed with the out pouring of love and support from family, friends, and coworkers. Words truly cannot express the gratitude my family has felt from everyone’s thoughts, prayers, love, support and for the instant willingness to help Trina in any way possible.  

In times like these, everyone's first question is "what can I do?" We understand that everyone wants to help in some way or another.  While Trina is staying strong and keeping faith and hope in her heart to beat this cancer this fund was set up to reach out to anyone who is able and willing to help support her expenses during this time.  She has been unable to work since September 22 and her bills are beginning to pile up. We are asking for any donation you can afford to help Trina fight this horrible disease and to support her son during this fight for her precious life and whatever time that God will grant her. 

Trina has always been a person that is willing to help anyone if she was asked, and now it is our time to help her.  In times like this the last thing a family needs is the added stress of worrying about the day to day expenses and other financial commitments that are going to be lingering due to being out of work, so if you can donate anything, it would be much appreciated. Let’s give Trina a big hand up, not just financially, but also mentally by easing the financial burden she is facing.   

Trina is a shinning example of strength, perseverance, and unconditional love. Those who truly know her, know that she is a loving and devoted mother to her son Jordan, who she has and is supporting his dream of playing professional baseball. She has tirelessly given many years of herself in helping her son fulfill his dream, willingly sacrificing at times her own needs. Trina has worked in the makeup/skin care industry for 20 plus years. During these years, Trina has given beyond what was expected of her through her impeccable work ethic, and always willing to do whatever was needed, so not to let anyone down. Her love and passion for making people shine in their own beauty, was the highlight of her Job. She has enhanced many lives through her hard work, and compassion for others. Trina's love of life and her unconditional love for humanity make her a devoted mother, daughter, family member, and friend. She always loves getting friends and family together, and gives from her heart never leaving anyone left out. This my friend is the essence of a shinning example of strength, perseverance and unconditional love.
