Help Lizz fight lymphoma & more
Donation protected
Lizzie is our 23-year-old daughter. A year ago she woke up with a slight swelling above her wrist. Eleven doctors, four biopsies, 7 x-rays, 3 bone scans, 5 MRIs, and 10 mos later she found out she had stage 4 lymphoma, presenting in a way they had never seen before. She will make the medical books, but we just pray she beats this. In the meantime, she is unable to work, having lost use of her primary hand. Living expenses aren't a problem since she lives at home and thankfully is still on her dad's insurance. But co-pays are adding up, drugs, and also school loans which they refuse to defer even for cancer. Her dad and I have been paying everything for her for almost a year, but I am sick as well and can't work anyway as taking care of Lizz is a full-time job. Any little help you can provide will be greatly appreciated. Lizzie is so strong, and spends her time at the hospital making sure everyone else is complemented and made to feel good. She said to me with a big smile and shining eyes under that beautiful bald head, "Sometimes one complement, mommy, can make the difference in a person's day." Knowing people care about her will make a big difference for her if you can help.
