The Woodfin Fire Department has created a really fun social media fundraiser, selling stress-relieving toys in the form of firefighters and having fun posting photos of the little guys on Facebook.
People buy the “Fire Elves” for $5 if purchased in person or $8 if you need it to be shipped. These little figurines are made of the same material that stress relieving balls are made from. You can then friend the “Fire Elf” on Facebook to post pictures of him doing silly things.
All the money goes to local kids in need.
