Miracle for Michael

Michael and Tracy met at Spring Grove High School and attended Homecoming together in 1992. Mike moved away and they lost contact over the years. On May 7, 2015 they were reunited on Facebook when Tracy saw Michael's name as a possible friend. She sent him a friend request and soon after realized their story was not finished. Within 4 messages Mike was ready to reconnect. They decided to meet at the York Street Fair that weekend. Tracy said she knew as she watched Michael walk up to her car through her rearview mirror that she was hooked. They began dating, were engaged the following year and married exactly 2 years from the date they reconnected. They have worked extremely hard to make a beautiful life for their family. Together they share 8 amazing children.
July 2018, Michael was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. This is an extremely aggressive cancer with limited treatments. The doctors are doing everything they can to provide him comfort and options on what is next. He is currently unable to work and the financial hardship is already affecting their family. His wife Tracy has had to take off work to be there for her husband, and the bills are still rolling in. Currently Mike does not have health insurance so the medical bills will begin arriving soon as well.
We are reaching out to everyone to show their love, support for this beautiful family. Our goal is to raise $25,000.00. This will allow them to focus on loving each other and fighting this horrible disease together. It will give them peace of mind that their children will have what they need, the house and bills will be taken care of and they will have a way to pay for the incoming hospital bills. Pancreatic Cancer is extremely aggressive and has limited treatment options, so they need to be able to drop everything and do what is best for him without worrying how to pay for it. We don't want the family to fall behind in the process. Let's relieve some of their burden and bridge the gap for Mike, Tracy and their children.
Anything you donate is truly appreciated. Michael and Tracy are truly appreciative and humbled by the outpouring of love and reconnection they have received over the past few weeks. This is something none of us ever want to walk through, but I am so thankful Mike has an unconditionally loving wife, parents that put him first, Grandparents that pray diligently, siblings that text, call and visit, family that loves him from wherever they are and friends who remember him and respect him for the man he has become. He is not walking this alone, we are all praying for a miracle to fight this fight. I thank every one of you for taking the time to read and share his story. He means the world to all of us and I am praying for a miracle that God grants him the gift of time.
